Better Boundaries Hearings Rescheduled for TODAY

The indirect initiative effort of two weeks ago practically fell apart before it started, due to likely "constitutional problems." Sorry if you showed up for the hearings that never happened.

Over the weekend, a group of sponsors that now includes Sen. Mike Lee announced their next foray would involve the more traditional referendum process. This time, the goal is to attack Prop 4 (Better Boundaries) using next November's ballot. Public hearings are still required before signatures can be collected, but the hearing for Logan is inconveniently scheduled for today, Nov 3, at 6 pm, at Logan Library. League of Women Voters has posted all of the hearing dates and times. Come and speak your mind if you are able. See the SLT article for more details.
